This is a 1996 McCoy Miller ambulance. This truck served as Rescue 6 until May of 2003. It was then assigned as Rescue 4 a spare in the fleet. In February 2004, the truck was retired from service. The Hermon Volunteer Ambulance Service purchased the truck.
This was the first unit assigned to rescue 6. It is a 1994 McCoy Miller. . The first day of service as Rescue 6 was November 16, 1997. It is no longer in service for the City of Bangor.
This Rescue 6 is a 2001 McCoy Miller ambulance.  This rescue was assigned to us in May 2003. The truck is reassigned to Rescue #5 on the Hogan Road, in February 2004. In 2007 it was placed in reserve as Rescue 4.
Rescue 6 is a 2016 PL Custom ambulance. Rescue 6 (as with all of our rescues) carries the latest in EMS equipment. All of our trucks have Life-Pack 12's, Broslo pediatric kits, Paramedic Meds, equipment to treat many multi-trauma patients in one call, IV supplies, ET kits, and much more. Because of the response to BIA, rescue 6 carries enough mass casualty (command post equipment, triage tags & flags) for 200 + patients.
Rescue 6 is also used by many EMS classes and medical programs as a field internship rotation. This rescue was assigned to us in February 2015.
